The Computer Science Department offers graduate study leading to Master of Science (M.Sc.) in many area of Computer Science such as algorithms, artificial intelligence, database systems, networks and distributed systems, and software engineering.

To be admitted to the M.Sc. program in Computer Science, a student should have a Bachelor's degree in  computer science or a closely related field, with a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.00 out of scale 4.00. Students with a Bachelor's degree not from Kuwait University may be admitted to the program provided they pass a department entry examination based on undergraduate curriculum.
